Drawbridge Operator will operate the drawbridges in response to signals and in accordance with established rules and regulations. Duties involve operating bridges and maintaining appropriate documentation. Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion in making decisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must have the ability to react quickly to, and report situations involving train and boat traffic.
- Ability to keep clear and accurate records concerning boat movements, maintenance activities, equipment malfunctions, and accident information occurring on the bridge.
- Report for work as scheduled.

- Previous experience not required
- Mandatory Drug Testing (Medical Marijuana use is PROHIBITED)
- FT/PT $18.00/Hour- $20.00/Hour depending on experience
