HR Generalist, Nijmegen the Netherlands


You are going to be part of
the HR team based in the Netherlands, a compact, yet dynamic group of experts. You will be part of our international HR team located in The Netherlands, the Philippines, China and France. The HR team at our Nijmegen headquarters consists of 5 employees and is mainly responsible for global HR processes, HR analytics and on top of that: HR support for employees in Europe and the USA

Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner in the Netherlands, you will work closely with our HR administrator and the rest of the (global) HR team. Additionally, you will collaborate with various staff departments, country managers across multiple Ampleon sites in the USA, Sweden, Finland and Germany, as well as external service providers

A day into the life of an HR Generalist
You will be responsible for a diverse range of HR activities for the employees in the Netherlands (250), and the USA, Sweden, Finland and Germany (20). Your activities and challenges will include:


  • Payroll: Coordination and maintenance of the payroll for the different countries
  • Compliancy: Ensure the maintenance of HR policies
  • Pension and Insurances: Coordination and maintenance of the different pension and insurance provisions
  • Occupational Health (ARBO): Collaborate with the company doctor and provide support to case managers during reintegration procedures
  • Recruitment: Alignment with our recruiter (external service provider) and coordination of the recruitment procedure
  • Employee Journey: Coordinate and enhance the procedures for movement of employees within Ampleon, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal mobility
  • Relocation: Coordination all aspects of international mobility together with our immigration, relocation, and tax specialists from external service providers

Your profile
We are looking for you, if you have the following background and capabilities:
  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch (mandatory) and English
  • You have 2-4 years’ experience in HR, preferably in an international company
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or something comparable
  • You are pro-active, result oriented and self-motivated
  • You are dependable, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality
