The Kambi Bucharest Office opened in 2016 and it is a modern one, located in the city’s main Business District and the most dynamic one, at only 7 min by walk from Aurel Vlaicu subway station. Role
As an Engineering Manager at Kambi, you manage one to three development teams. The teams are cross-functional, and own their components throughout the entire lifecycle. We believe that to succeed in this role you are a leader with strong ability in empowering individuals and teams and want to be part of a successful and fast-growing company.
You will work proactively with competence development and growth, ensuring that the right skills are within the teams you manage. Ensure team goals by removing blockers and impediments and be a point of contact in escalation. You will support your teams in cross-team communications and foster an open and collaborative culture between teams.
You should have a curious and energetic approach which inspires and engages colleagues and collaborators to achieve, deliver and own their work.

Aside from working with your teams you will also have a responsibility of continuously improving work throughout the Engineering organization. You will, together with other Engineering Managers, be a driving force in evolving Kambi’s development organization to grow in parallel with Kambi global strategy.

You will be based in our Bucharest office, working in a team together with other Engineering Managers, reporting to the Head of Development. As we are an international and multinational company, our main language is English.
We think the successful candidate:
- Has worked several years with or within development teams in agile environments
- Wants to grow into the manager role, starting with taking on one team
- Has been involved in a DevOps transformation or worked in a DevOps organization
